National Shire Horse Show

7-9 March 2025

The Shire Horse Society will host its National Shire Horse Show indoors at Stafford County Showground, Weston Road, Stafford, ST18 0BD on 7th, 8th & 9th March 2025.

Enthusiasts will show their horses, with spectators expected to come from far and wide.

The pedigree Shire horses will be put through their paces over three days of competition- giving horse lovers a unique insight into the gentle giants of the horse world. The National Shire Horse Show is the opportunity to find out more about Shire horses, see them shown in style- in-hand, ridden and turned out- to support the work of the Shire Horse Society.

The prestigious King George V cup will be awarded to the most impressive stallion on Saturday and a host of other trophies will be handed out over the weekend.

This indoor event is a spectacular weekend of family fun including:

The event starts at 8:00 am and closes at approximately 5:00pm.

2025 Shire Horse Society full members gain free admission by presenting their 2025 badge which will be scanned.  Supporter members gain free admission on one day of their choice.
